WELCOME TO THE TASMANIAN CRICKET UMPIRES AND SCORERS ASSOCIATION

This site contains information about the Tasmanian Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (TCUSA), its approach to the game, and many aspects of umpiring and scoring.

The TCUSA provides both umpires and scorers to support the six levels of Premier League cricket ranging from first grade through second, thirds, under-17s , under-15s and women's grades.  During the latter part of each summer support is provided for the finals in all those competitions plus those of a number of leagues outside the Hobart metropolitan area.  TCUSA members have umpired or scored in Tests, ODIs, T20Is and domestic first-class, one-day and Twenty20 matches and other interstate competitions, however, while the opportunities are there to officiate at high levels for those dedicated enough to obtain the appropriate skills, the provision of quality umpires and scorers for club-level cricket is considered fundamental to the Association’s goals.  Like the players the majority of TCUSA members spend their careers supporting matches in and around CT's Premier League competitions. You can be assured that no matter what level you officiate at, the decision-making, match management, and other tasks involved will always present you with a real, interesting and enjoyable challenge, whether its out there 'in the middle' or in the score box!
